Leroy Moody, 81, passed away on August 15, 2025, in Texarkana, Texas, surrounded by his loving family after a sudden illness.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Freedom Grace Fellowship with Reverend Ronnie Freeman officiating.

Leroy is survived by his daughter, Patricia Boyter, and her husband, Mike Boyter of Arvada, Colorado; three grandchildren, Chad Smith and his wife, Cecilia of Denver, Colorado, Rachel Smith, and Aaron Boyter of Arvada, Colorado; and his sister, Rosie Winkler, and her husband, Ray Winkler of Reno, Nevada. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who cherished him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Edna Moody; his sister, Eva Weaver; his son, David Moody; and his wife, Ernestine Moody.

Leroy will be remembered for his devotion to family, his kind spirit, and the love he shared with those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
